Prakruty Agricultural Data Policy

1. Principle of Farmer Data Sovereignty

At Prakruty Agri-Tech Solutions, we hold that agricultural observation data belongs fundamentally to the farmer who produced it. When a grower takes a foliar diagnosis photo using our mobile application, the machine learning inference is performed entirely in device memory. No leaf image, diagnosis result, or timestamp is transmitted off the phone unless the user grants explicit, opt-in consent.

2. Scope of Voluntary Regional Contributions

Growers who elect to contribute their diagnostic scans to the Chhattisgarh Crop-Health Dataset do so under transparent conditions:

• Pathology Annotations Only: Only cropped foliar tissue, detected pathogen classes, and confidence scores are stored.
• General District Geotagging: Location tags are generalized to the administrative district level (e.g. Raipur, Durg, Bastar). Exact cadastral parcel numbers or high-precision farm coordinates are stripped.
• Zero Identity Leakage: Datasets contain no phone numbers, names, Aadhaar details, or financial accounts.

3. Strict Prohibition on Commercial Data Brokering

Prakruty will never sell, lease, or syndicate raw farm records to chemical pesticide manufacturers, agro-chemical marketing agencies, financial institutions, or speculative commodity trading desks. Our dataset exists exclusively to enhance disease diagnostics, early-warning epidemiological advisories, and sustainable, non-extractive botanical research.

4. Academic & Cooperative Research Access

Anonymized aggregations are made available under non-commercial research licenses to registered agricultural universities (such as Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya), ICAR institutes, and state agricultural departments to formulate early intervention guidelines and support local farmer producer organizations (FPOs).

5. Inquiries & Data Rights
